Ken Loach research

- Loach was born in  Nuneaton , Warwickshire - He is an English director of tv and independent film  - Joined the Labour Party in the early 1960s  -  Loach studied law at St. Peter’s College, Oxford, which Is where he became interested in acting -  After graduating he spent two years in the Royal Air Force and then started his career in acting. - He worked as a director for BBC - Loach issued social issues on TV because after making Cathy Come Home in 1966 (which as abut unemployment and homelessness) it brought the discussion of homelessness being an issue into the British mainstream  - Ken Loach founded the Left Unity party which is a left-wing political party in 2013.
